More on Venus and Mars

So I have concluded Wade's choice is not unusual for any child aged 11 to 25 male or female except after talking to my nieces it would be more likely for a girl if it was a specific boy not just randomly cute boys. However I had an experience yesterday that really made me think about the differences in males and females. So to give you a little background how this all started I have to go back to Wednesday. Wade forgot to turn off his cell phone and it went off in English class Totally his fault and I spoke very seriously to him about if it happened again he would have to not only pay to get it back but that he would be grounded from it for one month. So Friday I went early to the school to pick up Wade so I could go in the office and get it back. I ask very nicely that 'unfortunately I need to pick up my son's phone" to the receptionist now given they're never over friendly in the office but they aren't rude either. She says I will have to wait because the vice-principal has to get it for me and she is busy. I can tell she is busy because she is speaking very loudly to a couple of boys and she is saying I am getting very upset with all of you of course, if you ask me there was no she's getting mad she was way past that point. Again I understand her anger and I don't even have any idea what the boys had done. So a few minutes later, she comes out of her office and shoves the phone at me and says in the same tone she had been speaking to the boys in her office it will be fifteen dollars the next time. I calmly say thank you I totally understand and that he won't have a phone if there is a next time and I walk out. Okay, first I was a little peeved but then I thought about it and realized her anger may have been directed at me at that moment but that unfortunately, the reason she was angry was not me and although she shouldn't have treated me this way she probably didn't even realize how rude she was being. This is my point though Woman internalize everything Men do not. If all this had happened with the male vice-principal I would bet my income tax return he would have yelled at those boys but still come out and spoke to me politely. Mostly because most men not all men do treat woman with some respect what this woman did though was be disrespectful to me with no reason. I thought about all the times I was mad about something and instead of taking it out on the person who had ticked me off I either took it out on my children or husband. I can name so many instances people I know who have taken things out on unsuspecting innocents. I can think of one instance when my son Wade and one of his friends were helping put up stuff for other people. They didn't have to help they were just trying to be nice and you know what they got for it. They got yelled at because they were not doing it the way someone else thought they should or at least that was the excuse the woman gave for yelling at them. At the point, they got yelled at I just told them to stop and that I would do it, but what I should have said to this person was you have a child would you like it if I spoke to your child the same way you spoke to mine. I didn't but I really wish I had because maybe it would have made them think twice about how they speak to other people. My point is a Man doesn't take everything so personally They can argue at work then go out later that night together or play on a sport team together. Women on the other hand never forget just think about the story I just told I don't dis-like the Woman I just talked about actually I think if I knew her a different way I'd want to be friends but I will never forget what happened that day...... See what I mean Men and Woman differ my own husband can let anything his employees or employer say or do roll off his back, but I know I couldn't. Let me know what you think in my poll if you think I'm right or I'm way off base!!!!!
